Lalor Pre School

Multifield Construction Group approached us during the early stages of construction of Lalor Preschool. They were seeking sun and general weather protection for the top level of the building. Structures by Design took to the drawing board, designing a series of practical yet aesthetically pleasing shade sails for the exposed area.

Strong and ideal for larger commercial jobs, our premium high-grade Comshade shadecloth was the preferred material for the sails. Colours of yellow and aquamarine were chosen to add a bright and welcoming feel to the early educational setting. Five sails were required in total, all of which were installed at high-tension to add shape, resist adverse weather conditions and increase durability.

Due to a careful design process and attention to detail, these sails have achieved the desired goals of flowing effortlessly throughout the space and granting a fun characteristic to the preschool. Structures By Design team is incredibly pleased with the result and looks forward to working with Multifield Construction in the near future.
