Simpson Construction approached us to design, construct and install a shade solution that would be cost effective yet look professional whilst serving the purpose of covering an exposed Electrical Cabinet on their Treatment Plant site. The steel is a simple design engineered structure with two external U shaped welded sides with lug/bolt connections to the steel spreader bars. All the steel has been Hot Dipped Galavanised to suit the specification of the Treatment Plant insure the longeivty of the structure.
The easy to install steel structure is 4.5m x 2.5m with a tracked waterproof PVC membrane (polyplan 602), with min clearance height of 2.5m. It is a baseplate bolt down connection to the existing slab supplied by Simpson Construction. The PVC membrane is in three pieces and is watertight on each edge it is tracked too.
We look forward to work with Simpson Constructions and Yarra Valley Water in the not to distant future
